HEAT KILLS 45 HORSES. Work in Fields Combined With Blazing Sun Causes Losses
Luverne, Minn.—Special:
Forty-five horses died of overheating in Rock county grain fields last week. One rendering works hauled off 38, another 7, and no report has been received from the third one.
Many farmers changed horses three times a day, and then came near losing them.
